In the heart of Aroostook County, Maine, lies New Sweden. It's a Swedish immigrant colony established in 1870; much of the area is dedicated to farming. This particular scene drew me in as it reminds me of the painting Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth

Collinsville Axe Factory in Winter 2017

This 19th and early 20th-century iconic mill and warehouse was built of handsome steel, brick, and stone and was constructed in 1826 by the former Collins Company as the central hub for their manufacturing of axes and machetes. While no longer in business, the buildings that once made up this factory are the heart of Collinsville, Connecticut.

This is the Cape Neddick Light on Cape Neddick in York, Maine commonly referred to as the "Nubble". This iconic lighthouse was built in 1879 and is still in use today.

Perkins Cove is a small fishing community and artists’ colony; located in Ogunquit, Maine. The Cove is a charming area that consists of local shops, eateries, and scenic outlooks. The small harbor is home to several lobster boats, and it’s not uncommon to see when the lobstermen have all come in from their labors, their dinghies lined up at the dock.
